Overview

If you're flying into Marrakech and out of Fès (or the reverse), this is the route to take. Over four days you'll travel the entire spine of southern Morocco — from the film-set kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou to the towering Todra Gorge, across the Erg Chebbi dunes and up through the fossil-rich Ziz Valley to the cedar forests where wild macaques roam.

You never double back; every mile brings new landscape. And because it's private, we can linger where you fall in love and move on where you don't.

Good to Know

Can I run this route in reverse (Fès → Marrakech)?

Yes — the same itinerary works beautifully starting in Fès and ending in Marrakech. Just let us know your arrival city.

Where do we stay each night?

A characterful kasbah hotel in Dades, a luxury en-suite tent in the Erg Chebbi dunes, and a comfortable mountain hotel in Midelt. All can be upgraded on request.

Is four days too rushed?

Not at all — because it's one-way there's no backtracking, so the pace feels relaxed. We also offer 5- and 6-day versions.
